Mission
The mission of the North Carolina State Ports Authority is to enhance the economy of North Carolina.
The Ports Authority will be managed like a business focused on the requirements of our customers.
North Carolina’s Ports will be recognized for their self-sustaining operations, highly efficient workforce, satisfied customers, and modern, well-maintained facilities and equipment.
As part of fulfilling its mission of economic development for the entire state, the North Carolina State Ports Authority offers a variety of opportunities directly to job seekers, vendors, economic-development partners, companies wishing to offer services to Ports customers, and to customers seeking those services.
